• Led a 4-month refactoring initiative of the corporate customer onboarding backend, improving scalability of the service and reducing code complexity.
• Architected and led the implementation of an AI chat for KAYAK for Business using a multi-agent architecture and LLM APIs.
• Owned production reliability through on-call rotations and hotfix deployments.
• Mentored two junior engineers and conducted engineering interviews.

• Owned the development of core backend services and features for KAYAK for Business, including search filters for business travelers, corporate policies engine functionality, and third-party travel management integrations.
• Developed internal tooling using React and TypeScript, including an internal console and a regression testing framework.

Developed a TV recording application (YouTV) for the German market, implementing features that leveraged the latest Android version capabilities.

Worked on a solution for FX derivatives trading for a large investment bank. Contributed across the full software lifecycle: requirements analysis, architecture design, system development, testing infrastructure and CI, and release documentation.

• Teaching software engineering and data science to adults from migrant backgrounds.

• Mined and pre-processed source code at scale, trained LLMs for source code, and integrated them into a VSCode extension.
• Published research results in scientific articles and presented them at academic conferences.
• Taught programming fundamentals to Bachelor's students.
